Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) also known as tapping can be a great tool to help you reduce stress in your life. EFT seeks to address imbalances within a person’s energy system, as well as the energetic influence of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions on the body. The prevailing premise of EFT is that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system. It is believed that EFT helps clear these disruptions.  You simply ‘tap’ gently on specific meridian endpoints located on head, face, and upper body while thinking about an issue affecting you and voicing positive affirmations simultaneously.

EFT can be used often, thereby providing us with the opportunity to change our negative feelings and reduce self-limiting thoughts/beliefs.

At its core, tapping is considered a stress management technique. Stress can come from our relationships, our careers, or negative things that happened long ago or are currently happening.

I use this technique in all my sessions  with the intend to help my clients clear emotional blocks that may be stopping them from reaching their goals.
